3. According to the structural requirements, the nominal diameter of the wire rope shall not be less than 14 and the number of rope clamps shall not be less than 3. The distance between clamps is usually 6~7 times of the nominal diameter of the wire rope.

Pay attention to the following items when using rope clips:

(1) The size of the clip shall be suitable for the thickness of the wire rope. The inner clear distance of the U-shaped ring shall be 1~3mm larger than the diameter of the wire rope. The clear distance is too large to clamp the rope.

(2) When using, tighten the U-shaped bolt until the wire rope is flattened by about 1/3. As the wire rope is deformed after being stressed, the rope clamp shall be tightened for the second time after being stressed to ensure the firm joint. If it is necessary to check whether the rope clip slides after the wire rope is stressed, an additional safety rope clip can be used. The safety rope clamp is installed about 500mm away from the last rope clamp, and the rope head is clamped with the main rope after a safety bend is released. In this way, if the clamp slips, the safety bend will be straightened, so that it can be found at any time and reinforced in time.

(3) The arrangement spacing between rope clips is generally about 6-8 times of the diameter of the steel wire rope. The rope clips should be arranged in order. The U-shaped ring should be clamped on one side of the rope head, and the pressing plate should be placed on one side of the main rope.

(4) Fixing method of wire rope end: generally, there are two kinds of single knot and double knot.
